Patchwork Mosaic is always looking for good content. We accept submissions for General Content and Prose & Poetry.
General Content Submission Guidelines:
Patchwork Mosaic currently has five general content categories: Travel, Workplace, Arts & Entertainment, Books & Poetry, and Lifestyle.
We are looking for personal essays, think pieces, listicles, philosophies of art, and reviews. Patchwork is a place for content by creatives for creatives, so your work should be aimed at the creative, introverted, and sensitive among us.
Please send a short cover letter and your submissions to: patchworkmosaicmagazine@gmail.com. Response time for general content is typically 1-2 weeks. We look forward to reading your work!
Poetry & Prose Submission Guidelines:
Patchwork Mosaic publishes a monthly Fiction and Poetry feature. We would love to read your best poetry and prose.
We have a wide taste in content, from literary realism, to slipstream, science fiction, fantasy, magical realism, surrealism, modern, and contemporary. We like our literature to induce dreaming, to wake us up to what's around us, to open us up.
Prose: Please submit no more than one story at a time. Though there is no word limit/minimum, we are seeking stories 1,500 to 5,000 words in length for our monthly Fiction feature. Novel excerpts are fine as long as they stand alone. For flash fiction, you may submit three pieces in a single submission. There is no theme or topic. We ONLY accept unpublished material.
Poetry: Please submit no more than seven poems at a time. You are more than welcome to submit again after you have heard from us. For our monthly Poetry feature we are looking to publish five poems. Currently there is no theme. We ONLY accept unpublished material.
General Guidelines: We would prefer your work be pasted into the body of the email after a short cover letter. We are hesitant to open dubious attachments (we are a small, paranoid team). Your cover letter should include your name, contact info, the story/poems, word count, previous publication history, and perhaps how you heard of us. Don't stress about it, we want to read your work regardless. Response time for poetry and prose is between 8-12 weeks.

We have no physical office, so we can't accept paper submissions.
Compensation: At this time we regret we can't supply monetary compensation to our contributors. We are a volunteer team and accept work on a volunteer basis. We do offer every writer a bio complete with a link to a portfolio, website, or any other work they would like to draw attention to.
